Four Gemini agents beat Minecraft on their own
Google DeepMind shared a demo of four Gemini 4 Argon agents finishing Minecraft from scratch, defeating the Ender Dragon in 27 hours with no human help, according to the lab. The agents never touched a keyboard. They controlled players by writing programs, 2,783 of them, while splitting up jobs over chat, sharing notes and debugging together. The accompanying paper notes limits, including Easy difficulty and a single run. It is a fun milestone that points to agents keeping a plan together over very long tasks.
